Housed in the Grade 2 listed Clock House on Ramsgate's Royal Harbour, the Museum covers all aspects of the area's maritime heritage. Displays range from the local fishing and boatbuilding industry to Ramsgate's ferries, taking in the lifeboats, the Dunkirk evacuation and more.
Recently returned to the Museum is a splendid two-and-a-half ton Prince Rupert Patent Demi-Cannon, the prize of an extensive collection of artifacts recovered from the wrecks of Stuart warships lost to the nearby Goodwin Sands in 1703.
