Housed in an eighteenth century corn store, the Museum tells the story of Chichester and District from earliest times up to the present day. On the ground floor is the geology and archaeology gallery which explores areas such as the Iron Age, life in the Roman Army and Medieval Chichester. On the first floor displays show the development of Chichester from the seventeeenth century onwards. Find out about the seige of Chichester during the Civil War and how Georgian and Victorian Chichester development. The story finishes in the twentieth century.
