This talk, which will be lead by archaeologists Stuart Needham and George Anelay, will start by giving a background to the period of these burial mounds and summarising what kinds of knowledge have been gained from their investigation elsewhere in the country.

Flora Twort established herself as an important woman artist, not only locally but also nationally. To gain a greater insight into this prolific artist’s work and working practices, art historian and artist Dr. Wayne Jefferson will examine her life in Petersfield.
This talk examines both her life and work, as well as exploring some of the artistic techniques and processes that enabled her to create a variety of visual images. Faith, spirituality and belonging
Faith, spirituality and belonging remain important aspects of identity for many despite what is often seen as an increasingly secular society. This talk by Dr Paul Hedges, senior lecturer in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Winchester, will explore what it means to 'have faith' or 'believe' in something, in the context of the UK's changing religious landscape. We will also look at the interactions and relations between different religions.
