Cogges Manor Farm

Cogges Manor Farm

A beautiful Oxfordshire Cotswold farmstead with a 13th century manor house, 17th century rural barns and buildings, walled garden, orchard and moat set beside the Windrush River. Rare breed animals bring the site to life, come and see our Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, ponies, pygmy goats, Indian runner ducks, sheep and chickens, cuddly guinea pigs and rabbits and see if you can spot the farm cats! At weekends and bank holidays see traditional cooking on the historic range. Swing, climb and slide on the Cogges Castle timber fort adventure play on the site of the original Saxon dwelling, make a den or go for welly walks. Soft play and sandpit for under 5s.
Stop for lunch in the cafe or take home fresh vegetables, farm eggs and hand made crafts from the farm shop.

Cogges Beer & Cider Festival

  • 29 — 30 July 2016 6:30-11pm

Cogges Manor Farm, Witney, is celebrating its 5th Annual Beer and Cider Festival, and fundraiser for Cogges Heritage Trust.

The two-night festival attracts around 1,000 drinkers, serving 30+ local beers and ciders, with live music, food and Aunt Sally in the barns. We aim to source from breweries within 30 miles of Witney, including Hook Norton, Wychwood, and Cotswold Cider. With 5 years’ experience, the beers and ciders are chosen to ensure there’s always something seasonal and new to try, as well as the welcome return of our old favourites.

Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July, 6.30pm to 11pm. Tickets are £8 per night in advance from cogges.org.uk or from the Cogges welcome desk. Over 18s only. Sunday 31st July is Drink up day, for all ages, with bouncy castle, face-painting and games.

The performance will be on the manor lawn, or in the barns in bad weather.

Please bring picnics and your own rugs or low back chairs. Blankets or warm clothes are also advisable for chilly evenings.
