Do you have memories of Woodstock and surrounding villages? This is a monthly group who meet, reminisce about the old days and share memories. Tea and coffee will be served. The group meets on the first Friday of the month (excluding July & August)

Gordon Russell

Gordon Russell Design - The Early Years

Gordon Russell was a design pioneer – a furniture designer, maker, calligrapher, entrepreneur, educator, and champion of accessible, well crafted design. Schooled in the Arts and Crafts tradition of the Cotswolds he believed that good design has a lasting impact on people’s lives. His great skill was making connections between hand and machine, craft and design, theory and practice, landscape and architecture.

Joanna Foster

Collectuing Crafts lecture by Joanna Foster CBE

  • 15 November 2014 3-5pm

Joanna Foster is an Associate Fellow of Saïd Business School and directs their NHS Chairs' Forum.

She herself was a member of this forum before steppng down from nine years of chairing the Nuffied Orthopaedic Centre, NHS Trust in Oxford.

Joanna has lead major organisations nationally and internationally and in the private, public and third sector. She currently chairs a national arts organisation - the Crafts Council.
