Annie's War
- 17 June 2014 — 27 July 2018 *on now
'Annie's War' is an event for schools that offers an active exploration of life in Norfolk during World War I, seen through the eyes of a local girl. Meet Gracie the Nurse and discover how she cares for wounded troops. Work alongside Olive the Landswoman out in the fields with our Suffolk Punch Horses. Experience an Edwardian school lesson and discover how the Great War even reached the classroom. Listen to stories from the trenches told by Jack the Solider and handle some of his kit. Come together with the rest of the village to raise money for troops with a good old-fashioned sing song and magic lantern show.
