Gressenhall Goes Wild - A Day With A Difference

Murder Most Grave - Museums at Night

Enjoy an evening of mystery and intrigue with our Edwardian Whodunit in the atmospheric setting of Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse. Question our costumed characters and see if you can solve the murder. Come dressed in period costume and join in the drama. Café open for pre-performance dinner. Entry by pre-booked ticket only. Orchid flowers

Short Course: Wildlife Gardening

  • 18 May 2014 10am-4pm

This workshop will explore ways of encouraging a wildlife friendly garden, using the Gressenhall Wildlife Garden as a real life example. You will have the opportunity to focus on your own gardens and gardening practices. A mixture of presentation and practical exercises will be used to ensure that you leave with a clear plan of what you want to do in your own gardens. The workshop will be led by Nigel Boldero, a professional garden and landscape designer, and experienced gardener.

Short Course: Fabulous Flowers

  • 24 May 2014 10am-3pm

Come and create your own unique hand tied bouquet using the flowers and foliage of spring time. Sarah Martin from Amity Flowers will teach you how to put together and get the most from your arrangement. Then you will be able to take home your creation to brighten up your own house or give as a beautiful gift.

Annie's War

  • 17 June 2014 — 27 July 2018

'Annie's War' is an event for schools that offers an active exploration of life in Norfolk during World War I, seen through the eyes of a local girl. Meet Gracie the Nurse and discover how she cares for wounded troops. Work alongside Olive the Landswoman out in the fields with our Suffolk Punch Horses. Experience an Edwardian school lesson and discover how the Great War even reached the classroom. Listen to stories from the trenches told by Jack the Solider and handle some of his kit. Come together with the rest of the village to raise money for troops with a good old-fashioned sing song and magic lantern show.
