The Award winning Museum is housed in three Victorian canalside warehouses, converted by Dr Barnardo into a ragged school. Visitors to the Museum today can take a journey through the history of the region as well as experience what it was like to be taught over one hundred years ago by 'stepping back in time' to the atmospheric recreated Victorian classroom.

Hitchcock for Kids!

As well as all of our Hitchcockian inspired activities we will also have our usual Hallowe’en shenanigans going on around the Museum to delight and entertain.
Art activities will be on offer throughout the Museum. The Victorian classroom and East End Kitchen will be also open to explore. The Under 5s Ragamuffin Room will also be open as will the Towpath Café for those parched grown-ups!
