A small collection housed in a classical George II building (1760 approx) in Lincoln's Inn recording the most unusual history of the Regiment and its predecessor units going back to 1584 when the members, all lawyers, were formed to defend London against the threat of a Spanish invasion. Subsequently members took part in the English Civil War and the defence of the City during the Gordon Riots. Units were raised during the Napoleonic Wars and members fought during the Boer War and in later conflicts.

It is the only regiment which had (and still has) a very close association with London's legal profession. In addition to uniforms, weapons, medals and memorabilia there is an excellent archive and possibly the oldest complete set of drums in the British Army, presented to the Law Association Volunteers in 1803.
