For one night only, the Zoology Museum and Natural History Centre in Aberdeen is opening its doors for A Night at the Museum II on May 17 2009, celebrating 200 years of Charles Darwin.
Once inside, visitors will be invited to discover a dinosaur, create a creepy creature and track down hidden treasure. There will even be the chance to travel through time with the impressive black light show, delving further into Darwin’s discoveries and evolving earth.

In keeping with the night-time theme, there will be an opportunity to explore nocturnal nature in the vast and beautiful Cruickshank Botanic Gardens, which is used already by the University for its botany studies.
Readings from Darwin’s Microscope by Kelley Swain, commemorating one of the science world’s most influential figures, will also feature, as well as activities for people of all age groups.
