Local history museum for Mallaig, West Lochaber and the Small Isles, housing a comprehensive range of displays and exhibitions covering fishing, railway, steamers and ferries, Knoydart Clearance, agriculture and other themes.
The Heritage Centre is in the centre of Mallaig, beside Mallaig rail station.

Predominantly photographic, especially images of Mallaig and its inhabitants and of fishing activities. We have copies of most locally relevant photographs from the Scottish Ethnological Archive's M.E.M. Donaldson collection.
Small but growing local archive, including microfilm copies of censuses for parishes of Glenelg, Ardnamurchan and Small Isles and 6 inch OS maps covering the area (except Small Isles)
