Friends of Kelso Museum
The Friends of Kelso Museum continue to work towards the re-establishment of a Museum in Kelso. The Friends promote eight public lectures on local history themes, four in November and four in March. These are always on a Wednesday at the Abbey Row Community Centre and start at 7.30pm.
Membership of the Friends is £5 (family membership £8).
The lectures are free to Friends, but non-Friends are invited to make a donation. The syllabus will be available in September. The opening lecture on 5th November will be from Isabel Gordon on England's Rough Wooing followed by the Annual General Meeting. Further lectures are listed in the Kelso Calendar: http://www.kelso.bordernet.co.uk/calendar/
