Felt and Mosaic Family Workshops

  • 16 May 2015 10am-2pm

Come along to our fun family workshops and learn a new craft! We've enticed feltmaker Ruth Black along to show you how to produce a colourful and tactile piece of art inspired by the glorious patterns in our amazing pictish stone collection. In the afternoon, Sally Purdy will have you in bits - of ceramics, that is - with one of our favourite crafts, mosaics! We are very proud of our Celtic Tree Alphabet mosaic trail which can still be seen all across Ross-shire and you too can build up a fantastic picture with pieces of tile and a little inspiration! A great way to bring your own twist to the artistry of our ancestors.
