Set on the waterfront within a restored 19th century dock the Shetland Museum and Archives tells Shetland's story. As well as housing the Museum and Archive collections there is a cafe restaurant, auditorium, learning and research rooms, temporary exhibition space and shop. Other facilities include historic boat building sheds and a three storey boat hall with suspended boats.

'Jock Rattar'

Lower Gallery. A display highlighting the life and work of Jock Rattar, who was a blacksmith in Foula in the late 20th cenury. This includes items he made and some of his tools and personal effects.Free, no booking required.

Don McCullin

  • 29 November 2014 — 22 February 2015

Shetland Museum & Archives, in partnership with Shetland Arts, will exhibit work by the internationally acclaimed photojournalist Don McCullin.

This is the first time these images have been shown as part of ARTIST ROOMS, in a joint exhibition at the Bohoga Gallery and Da Gadderie.
