A Feast of Family Fun

  • 16 May 2015 10:30am-3pm

Drag yourself away from the breakfast table for this finger-licking celebration of the National Year of Food and Drink! First up is for the grown-ups - come down to the museum and share your local foodie stories in an oral history sharing session, then wander along to the Ogilvie Rooms to have a go at some foodie crafts and a chance to hold real museum objects! Once the kids have satisfied their mid-day hunger pangs, it's back at the museum for an afternoon storytelling session with Claire Hewitt in this fascinating family-friendly look at local tales and traditions surrounding the harvest and berry picking.
