We are one of the oldest museums in the UK, with more than half a million objects in our large, varied collections. They have been officially designated as a Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland. They cover History, Natural History and Art and include local and foreign material.

Our permanent displays explore the artistic, social and natural history of Perth & Kinross district. Regularly changing exhibitions cater for all tastes and age groups.
Activities and events are scheduled through the year.

Dino Night: Museum Late

  • 18 May 2018 7-9pm

Museum Late: The Dino Night is an afterhours dinosaur themed event just for grown-ups. You'll be able to dig for fossils, dance the night away at the silent disco, and enjoy a drink from the bar. On top of all that, there will be a headline performance from the amazing Adventure Circus!
