Young inquistive minds won't know where to look as they listen to fantastic tales of mysterious creatures during this extra special event at Barts Pathology Museum.

The London collection of specimens is opening its doors for a one-off reading from the author of the Young Sherlock Holmes series, Andrew Lane, who be talking about his new book, Lost Worlds.

The book delves into the mysterious world of supposedly mythological creatures, and follows the hero Calum Challenger as he tries to capture their DNA while simultaneously fending off the attentions of Big Pharma.

Open to adventurous kids of nine years old or over, this is a rare opportunity for adults and kids to visit the museum out of hours - this time on a Saturday afternoon - and kids get in free.
