Four venues are competing to host Julia Vogl for Museums at Night.

Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust, Bristol: a three-dimensional undulating river of colour and a trail incorporating the cemetery’s mortuary chapels, crypt and trees. Venue info here.

Discovery Museum, Newcastle:
a large-scale participatory installation that invites Late Shows visitors to use donated vessels to reflect the migration story of Tyneside. Venue info here.

Gloucester City Museum & Art Gallery:
a community installation as part of an amazing "leap back in time" and an evening filled with "everything science". Venue info here.

Rotunda Museum, Scarborough:
a visual representation of Scarborough fusing scientific data, local rock/soil samples, arresting visuals and public participation. Venue info here.

  • Museums at Night 2013 takes place in hundreds of museums, galleries and heritage sites across the UK during the evenings of Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 16-18.
