The Tarbosaurus, Velociraptor and Meglosaurus in Belfast’s finest dinosaur display look scary enough under daylight. But this Friday, on the eve of the opening of new show Age of the Dinosaur, the Ulster Museum will be letting people gawp at their towering new visitors in a special late-night opening for Museums at Night.

As well as providing a sneak preview of one of the most exciting exhibitions of the summer, the museum’s permanent galleries will also enjoy extended opening hours.

  • Admission to Age of the Dinosaurs is £6.95/£3.95 (free for under-3s, family ticket £18.95, additional entry to Ulster Folk and Transport Museum or Ulster American Folk Park £25, entry to all venues £35). Book online. Last entry is 8.15pm.
