Claire Barclay is a futuristic Scottish sculptor whose carefully balanced installations have been exhibited in Tate Britain and Edinburgh's Fruitmarket Gallery. The Old Operating Theatre Gallery and Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum will battle it out for her ingenious attentions.

Voting is now closed. Find out where Claire Barclay will be appearing when we reveal the results of the Connect10 competition on March 7.

Old Operating Theatre London
The Old Operating Theatre is a real one-off. The museum of surgical history, inside St Thomas's Church in Southwark, is one of the oldest surviving operating theatres in the world.

They say: "Our event will take place in the theatre, in the church roof. We will provide scientific inspiration with many strange and unusual surgical and pharmaceutical objects.

As a medical museum, we like Claire's work due to her fascination with body and architecture and interest in historical and anthropological artefacts.

This special evening will launch this year's celebration of the museum's 50th anniversary and the 190th anniversary of the oldest Operating Theatre in Europe."

Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum
Cheltenham's cultural centre has cause for huge excitement at the moment - the much loved venue is on the hop while its home is being redeveloped in an expansion expected to be completed during 2013.

They say: "Our Museums at Night event will offer an intriguing one-off glimpse of sleeping Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum.

While our new building evolves, existing galleries will be full to the hilt with carefully wrapped objects. Claire will awaken our curiosities about what's hidden in these peculiar packages – perhaps a mummified foot, beautifully crafted pot or Manolo Blahnik shoe.

You can guess too - either come on the night or watch live on-line and be part of the conversation. It will be thrilling and fun."
