A special Christmas market will be running every weekend until December 20 at Erddig, the National Trust property near Wrexham.

Three thousand people visited the markets over the first weekend, where more than 30 chalets and stalls selling all types of gift ideas tempted the visitors as they wandered around the outbuildings specially decorated for the event.

A Winter Wonderland has also been created, where Father Christmas meets all the children and invites them to explore his toy workshop.

Live music, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts are on sale to keep people warm and entertained. The markets continue every weekend until December 20 from 11am to 4pm.

It is advisable to arrive early in order to ensure you can buy tickets to see Father Christmas. Entry to the markets is free and tickets to see Santa cost £4 per child.
