Museums at Night 2010: The National Gallery, London, Friday May 14 2010
Danish Master of Light, the retrospective of Christen Købke's incredible paintings, and Painting History, the dramatic new portrayal of Delaroche and Lady Jane Grey, have become two of the most acclaimed and high-profile shows of 2010 since opening at The National Gallery.
In a twist for Museums at Night, the Gallery is inviting visitors to get the inside track on both of their blockbuster exhibitions for Museums at Night, including a talk and book signing on Købke by Danish writer Carsten Jensen, two half-hour guided tours of Painting History in the company of curator Anne Robbins and a Wine, Nibbles and Talk showcase examining the "Antwerp speciality" of making paintings of private art collections.

The Gallery will be hosting a range of treats until 9pm
Aural delights come from sound recordist Chris Watson, who'll be playing his sound composition responding to Constable’s Cornfield in Room 34, opera singers from the Salzburg Festival performing live in the Gallery and live music in the Sainsbury Wing Foyer.
