Late night tour of the Clifton Suspension Bridge for Museums at Night

The Clifton Suspension Bridge will be holding a special late night tour on Friday May 15 as part of Museums at Night 2009.

The visitors centre which normally closes at 5pm will be staying open until 10pm and there will be a special guided tour at 9pm.The main focus of the tour will be the state of the art illumination system that was first switched on in 2006 to celebrate the 200th birthday of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

The tour is suitable for all ages and will start at the tollbooth at the Clifton end of the bridge. It is free but donations are welcome.
