Whether you’re looking for a high quality performance of Handel’s Messiah or a darkly different Twisted Christmas of seasonal songs; an energetic hip-hop street dance spectacular, or Cabaret for kids; more traditional fare of Christmas Carols and Galas or a performance from the stars of Strictly Come Dancing, the Barbican has a fantastic range of events over the festive period.

Also not to be missed is the much talked about installation Bunker by Polish artist Robert Kusmirowski in The Curve gallery. Cult favourite Bad Film Club also returns for a special quiz in which two teams of guest comedians attempt to outsmart each other with their bad and cult movie trivia before a screening of Die Hard 2.
