The Bowes Museum in Durham will be running gallery tours and talks with curators as part of Museums at Night 2009, including tours of the new Silver and Metals Gallery and the popular Toy Tales exhibition celebrating 60 years of children’s television on the BBC.

There will be poem, picture and clue-led trails around the site to find objects, with treats for the winners and a café open until 8pm in an event Director Adrian Jenkins would offer "a more personal welcome" to visitors.

Runs Saturday May 16 2009, tours at 5.30pm and 7.30pm, Museum open until 9pm. Normal museum admission fees apply, call 01833 690606 or visit the Museum online.
