Visitors to the Black Country Museum will be able to get a real taste of the past when there is a special late night opening for Museums at Night on Saturday, May 16.
The museum will be opening between 6.30 and 10 pm with half price entry and a tasty range of treats will be on offer including 1930s style fish and chips cooked in beef dripping and real ale.
The village will be atmospherically lit with candles and gaslights and visitors will be able to enjoy old-fashioned street entertainment and talk to the costumed characters they meet in the various shops, homes and workplaces.
