You can see Europe’s largest digital screen at Norwich’s Forum until midnight this Friday and Saturday for Museums at Night.
Produced by Norwich Arts Centre, The Point of Perception is a collaborative project between artist Madi Boyd and neuroscientists Dr Mark Lythgoe and Dr Beau Lotto.
The Point of Perception presents a multi-media sculpture, using projected moving images of simulated built environments which are deliberately designed to confuse the human brain.
The installation makes visitors question why they perceive what they do and how the visual is being processed. Beautiful and mysterious, The Point of Perception mesmerises with its uniqueness.

London-based artist, Madi Boyd said: “My interest in playing with ways of perception dates back the time I was doing my degree in Fine Art.”
“This is what in fact plunged me into the subject matter a bit deeper with neuroscientists Doctors Lythgoe and Lotto.”
“I find filmmaker Matthew Buckingham has been an inspiration, but frankly, not a lot of people have worked in this field and this makes it even more fascinating,” Madi adds.
