Picturing Venice

'Picturing Venice' will feature works by artists including Turner, Sickert and Brangwyn, drawn from National Museums Liverpool’s outstanding collections.

It will explore the stylistic developments of European art between the mid 17th century and 20th century through images of this remarkable city.

Every year over 15 million tourists visit Venice to enjoy its architecture and learn its history. This exhibition will look at the origins of this tourism and what has become a cultural pilgrimage for many.

Family Art Club

Is your child aged between 7 and 12? Do they love art and being creative? If so, why not join our family art club. On the last Saturday of every month a member of our education team will help you explore the gallery and get hands on in this interactive workshop. Each month you and your child will be able to try new techniques, experiment with different materials and learn new skills.
