World Museum is the largest and oldest of the National Museums Liverpool, founded in 1851 when the 13th Earl of Derby left his substantial natural history collection to the city.

Why do we walk on two legs? Do we see with our eyes or our brains? Can we heal damaged joints? At what age are people’s muscles the strongest? Can we live for longer? Scientists in the University of Liverpool’s Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease (IACD) are working on answers to these and other important questions to provide cures for diseases, improve our fitness and help us live for longer. Come along to meet the scientists and join in with some experiments!
