The Silk Industry Museum includes the Silk Museum and Paradise Mill. At Paradise Mill you are given a guided tour around a working silk mill as it was int he 1930s. The Silk Museum takes you through the design and processes involved in producing and creating silk, from bugs to beauty.

Saturday Science Club

Make It Molecular runs this hands-on, free, Science Club for children aged 8-13 years, taking place at the Macclesfield Silk Museum. Each workshop will cover a different aspect of science and is presented by an experienced Science Communicator.
