The story of the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment is told in this major exhibition using photographs, archives and objects to tell the story of the soldiers of the regiment in the Battle of the Somme, 1916.

Make a Marvellous Mosaic

Musical Trench Tuesdays

Explore the Battle of the Somme through sound, guided by a professional musician. We’ll take a journey through life as a soldier in the trenches, before harnessing our creativity and using gadgets and gizmos to record live sound and create your own unique composition. No musical experience required – just enthusiasm and imagination.
