The Botanic Gardens Museum is Sefton's only local history museum and houses a wonderful collection of temporary and permanent exhibits relating to Southport's heritage, industries and traditions. Its permanent collections belong to the public and admission is free.
Due to the museum's setting in the beautiful Botanic Gardens, visitors are assured of a fascinating and enjoyable day out. Aside from the many exhibits and historic reconstructions on display, visitors can also enjoy the adjoining cafe and a host of entertainments including train rides, boating and crazy golf.
