An Evening At The Museum

  • 15 May 2015 7-9pm

IT’S a scene of pure sophistication: you relax in an historic setting, listening to an orchestra as the sun slowly goes down outside and the shadows lengthen and then ebb away.

For one night only you can experience it at Portland Basin. On Friday, May 15, the Ashton museum will be opening its doors at twilight to give visitors a rare chance to see the displays after hours while enjoying a Last Night of the Proms-inspired set played by the Abney Orchestra, who are based in Mossley.

Refreshments and light bites will be available from the Bridge View Café.
