Museum on the Move

Museum on the Move, the award-winning mobile museum, is about to hit the road again.

The new interactive exhibition, ‘Our Changing World’ is full of specimens from the natural history collections kept in the climate controlled stores at Ludlow Museum Resource Centre and tells the story of the dinosaur, the dodo and the dormouse, all animals now extinct or endangered.

There are replica dinosaur jaws and teeth to handle, a video microscope to explore the incredible world of trilobites, mammoth bones to build, a chance to spot the differences between a rat and a water vole, a red squirrel and a grey squirrel and lots of hands-on opportunities to make learning fun and accessible to all. The only thing we haven’t got on board is a dodo!
