Hygge winter weekends

  • 14 January — 19 March 2017 *on now

This winter we are embracing the Danish way of life and all things Hygge (pronounced Hoo-gah), creating a warm, cosy, comfortable setting for you to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

The Coach House at the Stables will be transformed into a Scandinavian oasis where you will be able to create your very own Hyggelig experience. Settle down to read a good book, have a go at den making or relax over a jigsaw or board game. There will also be children's retro films to watch and a thought tree to contribute to.

Encouraging you to reconnect with nature we have created five different walks, including two walks to enjoy with your dogs. There's never been a better opportunity to explore Waddesdon and get healthy this winter.

Wash away the winter blues by snuggling under sheepskin rugs with a steaming hot chocolate or mulled wine outside at the Stables or indulge in a special meal at the Five Arrows.

14 January to 19 March, Saturdays and Sunday 11am-4pm and every day in February half-term 13-17 Feb, Mon-Fri.
