There's something for everyone at Belsay. Explore a spectacular medieval castle, a Greek Revival 19th-century mansion and thirty acres of stunning Grade I gardens linking the two. In the gardens, unaltered for 200 years, you'll discover thousands of exotic species, famous rhododendrons and the magical Quarry Garden, with ravines, pinnacles and sheer rock faces inspired by the quarries of Sicily.

At Belsay Hall Castle & Gardens in Northumberland see the wonderfully intricate designs from the textile art of quilting. Individual exhibits of quilting by local crafts people from the North East are displayed inside the Hall.

Experience St George’s Day the Medieval way at Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens in Northumberland. Make way for a weekend of festivities in the pageant of St George. Join the medieval townsfolk, musicians and nobles as they celebrate with combat displays and a mummers play. See the mysterious knight in his shining armour as he faces his famous foe, the dragon, in a play to entertain all the medieval citizens. Enjoy performances, plays and medieval music as you’re transported back to Medieval times.
