Celebrate your New Year's Eve at Life

New Year's Eve 2017 - Science Centre Takeover

  • 31 December 2017 — 1 January 2018

Why should the kids have all the fun? Life Science Centre transforms into an adults-only playground this New Year’s Eve as we kiss goodbye to 2017 with a party to remember.

Where else can you dance with dinosaurs, literally shake your body on a festive 4D ride and head for the heavens in a psychedelic planetarium? There’ll be music, performers who glow in the dark and bongo drums. And of course, delicious scran and beverages (science inspired or otherwise) to keep your energy levels up while you’re propelled into 2018.

Highlights include:

- Dinosaurs! Hang out with some prehistoric beasts in Dino Jaws from the Natural History Museum.

- Feel good festive 4D! Hop aboard the Polar Express 4D Motion Ride – you’ll be a believer by the end!

- Bright Lights, Big City! Watch out for the luminous glow performers and pop into the planetarium for a visual shot of kaleidoscope colour.

- Play! Have fun in the Brain Zone (drinking-fountain toilet anyone?) and get creative in the Curiosity Zone.

- Music! Catch some ‘glass music’ on arrival with Brendan Murphy, enjoy the big sound of ‘Bongo Sean’ as we gear up for the New Year – and there’ll be dance beats throughout the night.

- Yum! Take your pick from the British street food menu and grab a drink from the various stations including the cosy cocktail lounge and pop-up bar. Science inspired tipples and old favourites are available to buy.*
