Age of the Dinosaur

Age of the Dinosaur

Age of the Dinosaur comes from the Natural History Museum in London.

Prepare to be transported back in time more than 65 million years to a Jurassic forest and Cretaceous desert, home to some weird, wonderful and now extinct plants and animals including dinosaurs like Tarbosaurus, the scary cousin of T.Rex.

See stunning animatronic dinosaurs and other animals, real fossils and dinosaur bones , all set in ultra-realistic habitats with intriguing sounds - and smells!

Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2013

30 November 2013 — 2 March 2014

The world’s most prestigious photographic showcase of wildlife photography comes to Life Science Centre, Newcastle in November 2013. The winning entries from the 2013 competition will be on display from Saturday 30 November 2013 until Sunday 2 March 2014.

Now in its 49th year, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, owned by the Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide, is open to professional and amateur photographers of all ages. The annual competition launches in January 2013.

Successful images will be displayed in a stunning exhibition launched at the Natural History Museum that then tours the UK and overseas.
