With hundreds of interactive exhibits, explosive live shows and a Planetarium, At-Bristol is one of the UK’s biggest and most exciting hands-on science centres. Join Morph and friends for a journey through animation past and present and become an animator for the day; be awed by icy bodies and cosmic rays; activate the Vein Ray to see your own veins; create your own TV show; and take a trip to outer space with seasonal expert-led star shows.

With a changing programme of events, activities and exhibitions, there really is something for everyone!

Experience the everyday and the extraordinary in the UK’s most exciting interactive science centre! Explore uses the very latest hands-on and multimedia techniques to involve people of all ages in a journey of discovery through science, the forces of nature and the unique workings of the human brain and body. Visitors can be the star of the show in the Play TV studio, enjoy the world’s first walk-through tornado, or play a game of virtual volleyball. Connected to Explore is a 100 seater state-of-the-art Planetarium showing presenter-led seasonal star shows daily!

Meet the Expert: Apple Pressing

  • 29 October 2014 10am-4pm

Bring along some apples, fresh from the tree and enjoy the process of turning them into delicious golden apple juice in a matter of minutes using the scratter and press.

Each batch tastes unique as different apples are thrown into the mix. A great hands on activity for all the family to enjoy together.
