  • 5 November 2015 — 23 January 2016

This exhibition of material from the Willy Russell Archive at Liverpool John Moores University celebrates a selection of Russell’s work spanning five decades from early works referencing the local area to Our Day Out, Stags and Hens, Educating Rita, Shirley Valentine and Blood Brothers. Archive film of performances, posters, playbills, handwritten notes and scripts bring his stories to life, alongside items from his own personal collection to give a rare insight into his work.

There is an exhibition catalogue which accompanies this exhibition priced at £4.00, which can be purchased in the gallery or via the contact details.
The catalogue has been produced by ‘C3Imaging’ specially for this exhibition.

Specially designed for Primary Schools and family groups, we have designed a ‘Self-Led Education Pack’, so that you can learn more about the exhibition and enjoy your visit to the gallery. If you are a school wishing to bring a class to the gallery, please book in advance via the contact details.
