Bletchley Park, once the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers, is now a vibrant heritage attraction, open daily to visitors. Step back in time to experience the stories of the extraordinary achievements of the men and women who worked here.
A place of exceptional historical importance, Bletchley Park is also the birthplace of modern computing and has helped shape life as we know it today. Highlights include the restored Codebreaking huts, with their WW2 ambiance faithfully recreated, plus a stunning new visitor centre with an introductory exhibition and hands on displays. Off Duty: High Spirits in Low Times

Long and unpredictable shifts often impacted on the health and wellbeing of staff at Bletchley Park during World War Two. In order to keep staff fit and well and able to work, senior management came to the decision that facilities and a welfare programme were needed for when they weren’t working. From sporting events and plays, to trips to the cinema and US dances, visit our exhibition Off Duty: High Spirits in Low Times to find out about the recreational activities that the Codebreakers and their colleagues enjoyed on and off site.

The Night Shift at Bletchley Park
- 18 — 19 May 2018 5-9pm
There will be drop-in Enigma demonstrations with a real World War Two Enigma machine and guided tours running throughout the evening. The Mansion, Huts 11, 11A and 8, Block B and Block C will be open for visits, including a chance to see the new permanent exhibition The Bombe Breakthrough.
Refreshments will also be available at our Block C coffee shop and from The Gin Nook, a mobile bar dedicated to the consumption of glorious gin and fabulous vintage cocktails.
The Night Shift is part of Museums at Night – an experience not to be missed.
General admission applies.
Last admission into the Park is at 20:00. Guided tours can be booked on arrival to the Park at the Information Desk, subject to availability.

Springtime 1940s Vintage Weekend

Come along to Bletchley Park and have yourself a fabulous time as our forties weekend returns for a three day event, which promises to be great fun for all the family!
Why not dress to impress and visit us in 1940s attire, or join one of our guided in depth tours of the Park?
There will be live music throughout the day and plenty of delicious offerings from Bandit Street Food and the Good Times Cafe.
Try your luck on our vintage lawn games and browse the collection of vintage vehicles. There will also be plenty of historical displays and reenactors on site, and a chance to pick up a vintage treat at one of the stalls – this really is an event not to be missed.
