Somerset House is a spectacular neo-classical building in the heart of London, sitting between the Strand and the River Thames. During summer months a 'grove' of 55 fountains dance in the courtyard, and in winter you can skate on London's favourite outdoor ice rink. Somerset House also hosts open-air concerts and films, contemporary art and design exhibitions, family workshops and free guided tours of spaces usually hidden to visitors.

Nicholas Hawksmoor: Methodical Imaginings
This Somerset House exhibition focuses on a series of important London churches built by the English architect Nicholas Hawksmoor (1661–1736) during the early part of the 18th Century. The key distinguishing features of Hawksmoor’s churches are their spires, each designed with different qualities, which rose throughout the city and became major urban markers. Curated by Mohsen Mostafavi, photography by Hélène Binet.
