Milton Keynes Gallery opened in October 1999 - the first new -built public art Gallery in England in over 20 years. Since then it has quickly established itself within the city and beyond as an important addition to the British contemporary art scene.
Visitors to MK Gallery experience a rapidly changing programme of free exhibitons, on average 5 - 6 a year in a wide variety of media. By developing innovative and influential exhibitons MK Gallery aims to make contempoary art accessible for all.

In Conversation

For each exhibition Milton Keynes Gallery arranges a talk, given by an artist or artists, a curator, a journalist or writer or other professional able to give a unique insight into the exhibition. Live Guides

Group visits can be arranged for any age, but must be pre-booked. Introductory talks are free, and gallery activities can be arranged at a moderate cost.

The Art Trolley

Available every Saturday between 11.00 and 13.00, children aged 4-12 have the opportunity to try a variety of art activities relating to the current exhibition.
