Ceramic and flock sculptor made by exhibitor Natash Lewer

‘Engaging the Senses’ - exhibition exploring multi-sensory experience

7 May — 17 June 2012 *on now

A mixed exhibition of interactive sculpture and installations designed to stimulate sensory responses. Moving beyond the merely visual, visitors can touch, hear and smell different work such as Ruth Spaak’s tactile plastic structures, Jon Williams’ perfumed clay pots or Natasha Lewer’s textured ceramics inspired by childrens toys. Work by Tim Layden and Marcia Simlak explores visual representations of synaesthesia. The exhibition aims to trigger rich, new responses to hand-made objects.
