The Mall Galleries are one of the few places where works of art by leading living artists are displayed alongside that by lesser-known artists. Each of the member societies holds their annual exhibition here as well as many competitions and open exhibitions such as the Singer & Friedlander/Sunday Times water colour competition, the Discerning Eye and the Not the Turner Prize as well as one man shows.

Wildlife Print Workshop
- 9 November 2014 10:30am-4:30pm
Monoprinting has the essence of most other forms of printmaking. It is about different ways of applying and removing ink from a block (we’ll be using perspex) which is then printed onto paper. We’ll be playing with as many approaches as we can manage in a day. This is hands on and is likely to be a bit messy. An apron, or old clothes advisable.
£50.00 per person. Materials included.
Primary Schools Programme
Bookings for KS2 can be taken for gallery workshops. A Gallery workshop is led by a member of the education team and entails an interactive talk and tour of the exhibiton, a visit and talk by a 'real' artist featured in the show, and a drawing session with materials provided by the gallery. Seperate lunch facilities are not available, however school are welcome to dine in the gallery picnic style.
