A hidden gem at the heart of the Manchester’s creative Northern Quarter, in a former Victorian fishmarket building, Manchester Craft & Design Centre is an unforgettable place to experience contemporary craft & design in the North West.

In 18 studios you can expect to meet some of the region’s most talented artists, designers and makers and see them at work creating textiles, jewellery, ceramics, prints, fine art, sculpture and more. Discover their stories, hear about their materials and processes, or learn a new skill yourself by taking part in a workshop.

And don't miss an exciting programme of free contemporary craft exhibitions and events and on-site café bar which serves delicious homemade food.

Bad Uncle and Manchester Craft & Design Centre join forces to present a showcase of art, music and performance by practitioners based around the North West, inspired by the work of Alan Menken, the Oscar winning musical theatre and film composer best known for his scores for The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Pocahontas.
