Into the Woods by Kasasagi

  • 9 July — 4 September 2016 *on now

Craft and the garden have enjoyed a symbiotic relationship for centuries, providing a continual source of inspiration for both artists and makers. Colour, texture, shape and the ever-changing seasons unite to provide the perfect muse and evidence of this will be in abundance at Walford Mill Crafts this summer.
Discover handpicked makers working across an extensive range of disciplines, including large-scale porcelain flowers by Wallflower of London, intricate paper sculpture by Kasasagi Designs, botanical inspired jewellery by Catherine Thomas and a collection of wood and copper steam-bent trugs by Jane Crisp.
In addition to our main gallery, visitors will have the opportunity to explore garden embellishments in our courtyard with willow weaving by Mandy Coates, metal sculpture by Missfire, hand carved slate by Paula Blake as well as the work of renowned ceramicist Christine-Ann Richards.
