Snibston Discovery Park is appealing for help from football fans for a new exhibition.
The Beautiful Game will look at fashion in football from Victorian times to the present day.
The science and industrial heritage museum is appealing to anyone who has any unusual football strips or kit to lend their relics for the display.
Gallery curator, Philip Warren, said: “We are also interested in talking to fans who wear either team strips or particular lucky clothes and fans that use a match to show off their designer labels including Burberry, Aquascutum and Stone Island brands.”
“We’d also love to get hold of some photographs of people with hairstyles or clothes influenced by famous footballers of the past,” he added.

Anyone lending items will need to be sure they won’t need them between April 3 and December 1 2006 so if you need that precious shirt for the World Cup or even start of the next season then don’t offer it for the show.
The exhibition will coincide with this year’s World Cup and the 40th anniversary of England’s 1966 World Cup win.
