The British Museum Gets Into The Olympic Spirit

The British Museum heads back to 776 BC to explore a highlight of the Ancient Greek world. Held at Zeus' sanctuary at Olympia, the Ancient Olympic Games brought athletes from all over to compete in honour of the king of the gods. This specially-created BM mini site, originally created for the 2004 Athens Olympics, offers the chance to follow the events as they would have happened thousands of years ago.
