Notification of Injury of Private William Dean

Private William Dean, 18th Hussars, joined the army in February 1910 at the age of 19. He was gassed while serving in France and spent time in hospital - this letter is a notification to his family of his condition. Although he survived the gas attack, he was later shot and killed on 10 February 1916.
